It has been a quite sometime since you have heard from the ministry of MTM. Since the last MTM conference in India the Burkholder family traveled to America for the Faith Builders REACH convention. While in America Raymond also served as the evangelist for a week of revival services at East District Mennonite church near Watsontown, Pennsylvania. Both were a great blessing and seasons of refreshing for the Burkholder’s. Upon our return to Thailand we were blessed to be part of the annual IGo retreat. I also taught on the Family for the Chiang Mai City Churches (CMCC) yearly church camp retreat right here in Chiang Mai, Thailand. So as you can see our schedule has been well filled with the work of the Lord since the last MTM conference. Thank you so much for your ongoing prayer support.

Yearly Nepal MTM Conference
Since 2009 MTM has conducted discipleship training with a ministry in Nepal. This upcoming conference in Pokhra Nepal will be our fifth consecutive conference with this ministry. This ministry has many evangelists who trek the Himalayan region of Nepal ministering the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ unto the unreached. This region of Nepal has thousands of villages which can only be reached by trekking, sometimes for days on end. Even a bicycle is absolutely useless. Many of these remote village people have never heard the Name of Jesus one single time. But these faithful native missionaries trek these extremely rugged mountains with our Lord preaching the gospel. Then once a year MTM comes in to a central location (in the past 5 years we have been in 3 different locations) and through teaching and discipleship we encourage those native missionaries as well as disciple their new believers that have come to Christ in the past year. What a joy and humble privilege is ours as it were, get to wash their feet and nurture their babes in Christ. The conference will be in Pokhra, Nepal and the dates are May 6-9.
