FINISHING THE HARVEST OF ‘15…WHILE SOWING FOR ‘16

The harvest of 2015 found MTM teams in 6 different nations, conducting a total of 10 conferences, and one 3-week Bible School. Because of your prayers and gifts, all of our needs were met in advance! To God be the glory!!

There are times we have questions about the effectiveness of the work of MTM. Recently at our Chintaluru, India Conference, we were blessed with this testimony from the “harvest” field. On Oct 30, 2015 while conducting remote village ministry about 150 km from Chintaluru, we arrived at a church. This was a new church where we were scheduled to have a dedication service. Joseph, the 25 year old pastor and his wife stood in front of the church. Upon meeting them, we learned that when Brother Raymond conducted a MTM Conference in Chintaluru 5 years ago, Joseph was an attendee. It was at that conference, while just 20 years old, Joseph committed his life in service to the Lord and to ministry. Is God’s work through MTM effective? Now 5 years later, the Lord arranged for another MTM team to be there to dedicate this planting to the Lord. Hallelujah! Following the dedication service were baptisms for 8 souls. When coming up out of the water rejoicing, we noticed an elderly gentleman coming toward the water. At this very touching moment, we turned around and witnessed the 9^th baptism. This man was the young pastor’s very own father, who now accepted Christ. This was a glorious moment…Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord. In this great harvest of souls, some of you have sown, some of you have watered, all of you are part of this harvest, and GOD HAS GIVEN THE INCREASE…HALLELUJAH…BLESSED BE GOD!!

Sowing for 2016 includes:

Accommodating 15 scheduled pastoral conferences
Accommodating 3- 3-week Bible schools: 1 in Nepal, and 2 in India
Seeking God for a middle aged brother/family with pastoral & cross cultural teaching experience, to join the MTM Team
Praying about a young brother to serve MTM in an IT/Secretarial position
Continuing by God’s grace to be a faith-based ministry supported by you, God’s people, both in prayer and in financial provisions. MTM staff is supported by other resources, so your contributions can be as effective as possible in facilitating the necessities of a leadership conference, or a 3-week Bible School.
