The Northern border of Thailand meets up with Myanmar and Laos in a place called the Golden Triangle. Unfortunately, this area is suffering under the power of darkness due to drugs and idolatry. Many local native missionaries are engaged in taking the Gospel into the unreached villages of this region. It was here in Tachileik, Myanmar that MTM conducted a Servant Leadership Conference for pastors and missionaries.

One highlight, among many, was the MTM teachers washing the feet of the oldest as well as the youngest Pastor in the conference. This was a teachable moment on the way Jesus demonstrated servant leadership to His disciples. It is humbling to hold feet that take light to those who sit in darkness. Those are feet who climb the hills and mountains to share the message of Christ. How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth! Is 52:7 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, how beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things! Rom 10:15. MTM teams go as teachers…knowing we learn more than we teach!
